NRS-8082 | Closer Settlement transfer registers

These registers record the transfers of closer settlement purchases. For each Land District the following details are given: the name of the estate, the record number of the Closer Settlement, the date registered, the date of transfer, the number of holding, the name of transferor, the name of the transferee, consideration money, the amount of stamp duty, the date the transfer details were sent to the Registrar General's Office and remarks such as release, stamped, mortgage, no contract etc. A list of the Closer Settlement estates in the various land districts as of 1 July 1919 can be located in 3/1142. Circulars relating to alteration in fees for transfer of closer settlement purchases are also included. (3/1142-43). 2 vols.
