The efficacy of USMC-enhanced sononeoperfusion and sonochemotherapy is highly dependent on tumor progression stage. Smaller tumors, with preserved vascular integrity and minimal hypoxia, respond more favorably to USMC. Mechanistically, USMC may improve perfusion and drug delivery via Mylk2-associated pathways. These findings support the potential of early ultrasound-combined therapeutic strategies for solid tumors.
