Detection of genes putatively conferring antimicrobial resistance and virulence in Chryseobacterium indologenes isolates from Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in Tanzania

We analyzed the complete genome sequences of Chryseobacterium indologenes strains isolated from Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) with the aim of better understanding the underlying antimicrobial-resistant of the isolates. Further, we have also focused on identifying potential virulence factors mediated by these organisms.
