The sample for this study comes from the basketball reference website (http://www.basketball-reference.com). The data collected is the statistical data of players per game in the NBA 30 teams in the 2017-2018 season. The data of each team is an EXCEL file. The columns are in order: player's Uniform Number, Rank, Season Game, match date, team, Home or Away (this is a category variable, Home = 0; Away = 1), opponent, Games Started (this is a category variable , Starter = 1; substitutes = 0), Minutes Played (here Minutes are converted to Seconds), Field Goals, Field Goal Attempts, Field Goal Percentage, 3-Point Field Goals, 3-Point Field Goal Attempts, 3-Point Field Goal Percentage, Free Throws, Free Throw Attempts, Free Throw Percentage, Offensive Rebounds, Defensive Rebounds, Total Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Turners, Personal Fouls, Points, Game Score, Plus / Minus.
