Exploring the effect of aging, TNFa, and RBM25 on the gene expresssion of inner ear

Purpose: The goals of this study are to explore the effect aging on gene expression of the inner ear. And the effect of RBM25 and TNFa on the gene expression on inner ear organod are explored. Overall design: Methods: Inner ear tissues from the three ages, 3-month-old, 11-month-old, and 20-month-old, were collected. The bones of the inner ear were removed, and the tissues residing in the bone were all used for mRNA extraction. Inner ear organoids in four groups (Control, RBM25 knock down, TNF-a, and TNF-a+ RBM25 knock down) were collected for mRNA extraction.
