An observational, case-control study was conducted, analyzing SARS-CoV-2 sequences from participants of the CONTAIN trial, a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of CCP (NCT04364737). Two-year follow-up samples (mid-2022) were used for metagenomic sequencing of respiratory viruses. Sequencing and data analyses were conducted in 2022-2025.
