资源简介:
This dataset presents the percentage of women who received iron supplementation during their most recent pregnancy. Iron is essential for preventing anaemia, supporting maternal health, and promoting healthy foetal development. Iron deficiency during pregnancy is associated with increased risks of preterm birth, low birth weight, and maternal complications. Monitoring this indicator provides insight into antenatal nutrition coverage and access to essential interventions. Data are sourced from StatCompiler, based on harmonised national estimates from Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS). This is one of many datasets featured on the Midwives’ Data Hub, a digital platform designed to strengthen midwifery and advocate for better maternal and newborn health services.
