VPRS 18538 Site and Building Committee

This series consists of minute books of the Site & Building Committee from April 1970 to July 1977. There is also a file of correspondence and documents dated 1972 relating to a proposed new engineering tower, and an image of the architect's model of the proposed Bundoora campus development.The Site & Building Committee of the Preston Institute of Technology (VA 1212) was responsible for the major building projects at the Bundoora site. The Committee oversaw the design and construction of the first buildings of the new campus. Initially the committee was simply called the Building Committee, but changed to Site and Building Committee on 21/7/1970. Another name change happened on 24/2/1977 when it became the Capital Projects Committee.
