Fully Printed Flexible Pressure Sensor Arrays for Wireless Monitoring During Violin Performance

This dataset contains the experimental data, analysis files, and acquisition code supporting the research article “Fully Printed Flexible Pressure Sensor Arrays for Wireless Monitoring During Violin Performance” by Xin Zhou, Noémy Gagnon-Lafrenais, and Fabio Cicoira. The study presents fully printed flexible pressure sensors fabricated using silver electrodes and PEDOT on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates. The sensors are characterized in terms of pressure-dependent electrical response, sensitivity, and repeatability, and their integration onto a violin bow with a wireless acquisition system is demonstrated. The repository includes raw and processed experimental data associated with Figures 3–5, including pressure–current characterization, cyclic loading–unloading measurements, and electrical recordings during violin performance. It also contains the photograph used in Figure 6, sensor analysis spreadsheets, and Arduino and MATLAB code for wireless acquisition and real-time visualization. These materials are provided to facilitate data accessibility, reproducibility, and further research on fully printed flexible pressure sensors and their applications.
