Targeted amplicon sequencing of Candida auris antifungal resistance genes from wastewater

This study uses a custom targeted amplicon sequencing panel to detect and enrich for antifungal resistance-associated genes of Candida auris in wastewater samples. Unique sequence markers for C. auris and C. albicans were also included in the panel for species-level discrimination.
