Datasets and R code used to conduct a meta-analysis on the heritability of telomere length in vertebrate species. The dataset was collected from a systematic literature search on the Web of Science, and screened based on relevance, study species, accessibility, etc. The screened dataset was then used to investigate mean telomere length heritability, and sources of heterogeneity in telomere length heritability estimates.
