Seoul GTX-A/B Housing Capitalization Dataset: Apartment Transactions, Accessibility, and Neighborhood Characteristics, 2006–2024

This repository contains the processed research dataset used to analyze the housing-price capitalization effects of Seoul’s GTX-A and GTX-B metropolitan express rail lines. The dataset combines official apartment transaction-price records from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) Real Estate Transaction Price Disclosure System with apartment structural characteristics, complex-level attributes, GTX station accessibility, existing rail accessibility, job-center accessibility, neighborhood-environment variables, treatment/comparison-zone indicators, and project-stage/event variables. The sample covers apartment transactions in the Seoul Metropolitan Area from January 2006 to December 2024. It was constructed for difference-in-differences and spatial analyses of when and where planned metropolitan express rail investments are capitalized into housing prices.
