资源简介:
Multibeam swath bathymetry data were collected with a hull-mounted Kongsberg EM122 echosounder during RRS Discovery cruise DY108/9 (Chief Scientists Veerle Huvenne and Blair Thornton) in September - October 2019. The cruise was conducted to map the Darwin Mounds, a Marine Protected Area, to increase our understanding of how the ocean will evolve under a changing climate and increased human exploitation, with the objective to support sustainable marine management. The data were edited using Caris HIPS software by Tim Le Bas and gridded at 50m spacing (EM122) in a WGS84 UTM Zone 29N projection. The vertical datum of the data is matched to mean sea level (MSL). They were exported as longitude-latitude-depth triples. Funding was provided to CLASS (Climate Linked Atlantic Sector Science), the National Capability Single Sector Marine Research Programme by NERC.
