Terbium isotope production via 6Li-induced reactions on natural samarium targets
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains experimental gamma-ray spectroscopy data from the study of terbium isotope production via ⁶Li-induced reactions on natural samarium targets. The experiment was conducted at the Cyclotron Institute at Texas A&M University using the K500 Cyclotron with ⁶Li beam energies ranging up to 2000 keV. The dataset includes: Raw gamma-ray spectra files (.Spe format) collected from high-purity germanium (HPGe) detectors Calibration files (.CBF format) for energy and efficiency calibrations Detection data from three HPGe detectors positioned at top, bottom, and side configurations Measurements spanning 20.88 days of continuous detection following 14 hours of target irradiation Data for identification and decay analysis of ¹⁵¹Tb, ¹⁵²Tb, ¹⁵⁵Tb, and ¹⁶¹Tb isotopes Target composition: Natural samarium foils with isotopic abundances: Sm-154 (22.74%), Sm-152 (26.75%), Sm-150 (7.38%), Sm-149 (13.82%), Sm-148 (11.24%), Sm-147 (14.99%), and Sm-144 (3.07%) This data supports the measurement of production cross sections and decay properties for medically relevant terbium isotopes, with applications in nuclear medicine for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
