This dataset contains raw and processed data related to the cytotoxicity testing of metallic molybdenum under standardized ISO 10993-5 and ISO 10993-12 conditions. Cytotoxicity assays The dataset comprises results from XTT and Neutral Red Uptake (NRU) viability assays performed for: sterilization comparison experiments using polyurethane reference materials cytotoxicity testing of molybdenum extracts comparative analysis of molybdenum (Mo), titanium (Ti), and magnesium (Mg) For each figures 1-3 presented in the manuscript, a corresponding Excel file is provided that contains raw absorbance values, calculated cell viability percentages, and the processed datasets used for graphical visualization. Statistical analysis for Figure 2 was performed using Welch’s t-tests, and the corresponding statistical outputs are included in the dataset. Transcriptomic analysis The dataset additionally includes supporting data from RNA sequencing–based transcriptomic analysis (Figures 5-1 to 5-3). The following files are provided: RNA-Seq quality control reports summarizing sequencing quality metrics for all samples, including per-base sequence quality scores, GC content distribution, and mapping statistics. Differential gene expression tables listing significantly up- and downregulated genes identified in the comparison between experimental conditions. Gene ontology (GO) enrichment analysis results for differentially expressed genes, including enriched biological processes, cellular components, and molecular functions. The tables contain enrichment statistics such as false discovery rate (FDR), number of genes associated with each GO term, fold enrichment values, and the corresponding gene lists.
