Batteries and Military Equipment in the Dardanelles (1908-09)

This data shows the number of Turkish batteries and other defensive pieces of military equipment in the Dardanelles for the years of 1908 and 1909. The figures in this spreadsheet are obtained from the Admiralty (1908-ADM 231/49) and the War Office (1909-WO 33/2333) intelligence records kept in the National Archives of the UK, Kew. As the data is purely obtained from British intelligence sources, it might be inconsistent with the real figures the Ottoman Empire actually had at that period.
