Support for selected requirements for plastic-related practices APAC 2023, by country

In a 2023 survey conducted across different APAC countries, respondents in Indonesia were most likely to support the implementation of different plastic-related requirements in a global treaty. Around 97 percent of the respondents in the country were in favor of a rule requiring retailers and manufacturers to provide reuse and refill systems for plastic containers. Across all selected requirements, Japanese respondents were least likely to deem them important.
