Fresh tobacco leaves typically require a curing process to facilitate the transformation of certain chemical components, thereby enhancing the quality of the tobacco. The changes in microbial communities during the curing process and their impact on the conversion of chemical components merit investigation. To this end, we collected and analyzed microbial sequencing data from the surface of tobacco leaves at different stages of curing.
