A dataset of age-stratified host transcriptomic profiles associated with febrile and afebrile respiratory syncytial virus bronchiolitis in infancy

This dataset contains raw RNA sequencing data profiling host transcriptomic responses in infants hospitalized with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) bronchiolitis. Samples were prospectively collected from upper airway specimens at hospital admission and stratified by developmental age and febrile status. The dataset provides genome-wide gene expression profiles across infancy, supporting investigation of age-dependent host responses during RSV infection. All sequencing files are deposited without downstream processing or interpretation to facilitate independent reuse and integrative analyses.
