Gene expression profile at single cell level of intraepithelial neutrophils (IENs) and lamina propria neutrophils (LPNs) of the colon from dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-treated mice

We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the transcriptional differences of spatially-separated populations of neutrophils in the inflamed colon. Overall design: Colonic IENs and LPNs from DSS-treated C57BL/6J mice were isolated by fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) based on cell surface neutrophil markers.
