资源简介:
Increasing number of infectious agents, which are resistant to antibiotics, claims even more lives worldwide, though a number of medicines capable of defeating the infections decreases. Presence of the resistance significantly increases health care system expanses on patients’ treatment. Development of high-throughput sequencing technologies made possible to study functions and content of human gut microbiome. One of the most important biomedical problems revealed by the approach was the ability of commensal microbiome to be a host for AR genes, acquire them and accumulate under pressure of antimicrobial substances. Moreover, microbiome is a reservoir of AR genes for infectious bacteria, causing socially important diseases. Thus current urgent biomedical task is developing of methods for screening and estimation of qualitative and quantitative AR genes content in microbiome, with a purpose of controlling risks of acquiring the resistance by pathogenic microorganisms.
