DCE, State Objectives assigned to coastal water bodies — Guyana — State of play version 2019 (WFS service)

WFS Service — Target imposed by the Water Framework Directive (WFD). The latter sets four major environmental objectives: non-deterioration of water bodies, achievement of “good status” or “good potential” of water bodies by 2021 or 2027 depending on water bodies, reduction or suppression of pollution by “priority substances”, and compliance with all standards in protected areas. The objectives assigned to water bodies and the objectives of reducing or removing priority substances are included in the Master Water Management and Management Plans * (SDAGE).
