Hydrological dynamics in giant tropical rivers: a case study of the Ganga River

This dataset includes meteorological data, calibration metrics and stable isotope analysis used to understand the Ganga River’s summer water flow dynamics. It also contains the data related to groundwater level changes around the river.  By estimating evaporative loss and river water-groundwater interactions, the findings, supported by mathematical modeling, provide a framework that can be applied to other tropical rivers to understand water dynamics and guiding sustainable management practices.
