Bluetongue Virus in Australia: A complete genome sequence for a prototype isolate of each of the ten known serotypes

This study describes the development of a simple and reliable system for determining genome sequences from multiple BTV isolates and its application to the first comprehensive analysis of Australian BTV serotype prototypes. This analysis has generated novel observations on the relationships of Australian BTVs to those in south and south-east Asia and the rest of the world.
