VPRS 19734 Board Minutes

This series comprises minutes of meetings conducted by the Board of the Urban Land Authority (VA 1358). Matters discussed include project progress reports, land acquisitions, sale of developed properties, allocation of land for amenities within new estates, staffing and membership of the authority, approaches to urban land development and housing affordability and legislative changes. In 1994 the State Government began reviewing the role of the authority and determined that it would become corporatised. This resulted in it's replacement in 1997 by the Urban Land Corporation (VA 5295). Between 1994 and 1997, meetings of the Board were replaced with those of the Urban Land Authority Re-organising Body. See VPRS 19735 for meeting minutes of the re-organising body.
