On the in-situ characterisation of metastable pitting using 316L stainless steel as a case study

Raw data utilised to plot the graphs presented in the article. A combination of potentiostatic and potentiodynamic polarisation tests was carried out in order to investigate metastable pitting behaviour for 316L stainless steel. In-situ imaging was performed simultaneously to the potentiostatic polarisation of specimens. The compressed version of the videos obtained from the described in-situ imaging (also described in the manuscript) was added to this data set for readers reference.本数据集包含用于绘制本文所附图表的原始实验数据。为研究316L不锈钢的亚稳态点蚀（metastable pitting）行为，本实验采用了恒电位极化（potentiostatic polarisation）与动电位极化（potentiodynamic polarisation）联用的测试方案。在对试样实施恒电位极化测试的过程中，同步完成了原位成像（in-situ imaging）采集。本次数据集同时收录了经压缩的前述原位成像视频文件（相关细节说明亦见于本文原稿），以供读者参考查阅。
