Whole genome sequencing of Enterococcus faecium isolates from traditional fermented dairy beverage Bongo in Uganda

The project involved isolation of lactic acid bacteria from a traditional fermented beverage (Bongo) with the aim of developing starter cultures to improve processing and safety. Among the isolates obtained were three Enterococcus faecium which were subjected to whole genome sequencing.
