Annotated record of the detailed examination of Mn deposits from R/V Atlantis Cruise 179 stations@en

The cores described were taken by the personnel of the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) operating as guests scientists during the R/V Atlantis Cruise 179 undertaken by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution from April until May 1952. A total of 25 cores were recovered and are available at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory for sampling and study.本次所述的岩芯由以客座科学家身份参与伍兹霍尔海洋研究所（Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution）于1952年4月至5月执行的R/V Atlantis第179次科考航次的拉蒙特-多尔蒂地球观测站（Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory，简称LDEO）工作人员采集。本次航次共回收25根岩芯，现保存于拉蒙特-多尔蒂地球观测站，可供采样与研究使用。
