Transcriptomes from cones of Apollo × Pub_M740 hop hybrids

This experiment analyzes the transcriptomic landscape of developing cones in Humulus lupulus (hop) F1 hybrids derived from a cross between the Apollo and Pub_M740 cultivars. These hybrids are part of a targeted population selected for chromosomal ancestry contrasts, combining European (Eu) and North American (NAm) genomic backgrounds. A total of nine individuals were sampled at the cone development stage to capture gene expression profiles relevant to cone maturation, hop aroma traits, and genomic structural variation.
