Blueberry Leaf Inclination Angle Distribution (LIAD) Image Dataset

This dataset contains 178 high-resolution images of blueberry (Vaccinium spp.) plants collected to support Leaf Inclination Angle Distribution (LIAD) research. The imaged plants comprised of two half-high blueberry cultivars— ‘Are’, and ‘Northblue’ (V. corymbosum × V. angustifolium), and one highbush cultivar ‘Draper’ (V. corymbosum). All images were captured on September 05, 2025, at the Rohu experimental site of the Estonian University of Life Sciences (Tartu County, Estonia) with a Canon EOS 6D camera with automatic settings under natural sunlight conditions. As LIAD directly affects light interception and canopy performance, this dataset supports data-driven LIAD classification, phenotyping, and canopy structure assessment.
本数据集包含178幅蓝莓(越橘属(Vaccinium spp.))植株的高分辨率图像,采集该数据集旨在支撑叶子倾角分布(Leaf Inclination Angle Distribution, LIAD)相关研究。本次成像的植株涵盖两个半高丛蓝莓品种‘Are’与‘Northblue’(V. corymbosum × V. angustifolium),以及一个高丛蓝莓品种‘Draper’(V. corymbosum)。所有图像均于2025年9月5日,在爱沙尼亚生命科学大学罗胡(Rohu)试验基地(爱沙尼亚塔尔图县)拍摄,拍摄设备为佳能(Canon)EOS 6D相机,采用自动拍摄模式,拍摄环境为自然光照条件。鉴于LIAD直接影响植株光截获与冠层性能,本数据集可用于支撑数据驱动的LIAD分类、表型分析及冠层结构评估工作。
