Subsurface Hydrocarbon Biodegradation in the Context of Microbial Habitability and Hydrogeologic, Thermal, and Geologic Evolution of the Colorado Plateau

This dataset includes four tables available as .xlsx files. The tables include biodegradation ratios and water chemistry data for sampled wells (table S1), biomarker abundances, biodegradation ratios, and bulk organic geochemistry data for Rainbow Rocks samples (table S2), biomarker abundances, biodegradation ratios, and bulk organic geochemistry data for the White Rim Sandstone core samples (table S3), and a compilation of water chemistry data from the literature (table S4). The data is used to evaluate hydrocarbon biodegradation across five hydrocarbon reservoirs in the Colorado Plateau (USA).
