EnviStats-India

EnviStats-India is a publication of the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MoSPI) that provides a comprehensive overview of environmental statistics in India. The publication is divided into two volumes: Volume 1 covers environmental statistics, and Volume 2 covers environmental accounts. Volume 1 of EnviStats India provides data on various environmental topics, including air and water quality, waste generation and disposal, biodiversity and land use, greenhouse gas emissions, and energy consumption. Volume 2 of EnviStats India provides data on environmental accounts, which are a system of accounts that measure the economic value of environmental assets and resources. The data in Volume 2 is used to track the economic costs of environmental degradation and the benefits of environmental protection. The data is presented in a variety of formats, including tables, charts, and maps.
