资源简介:
ECSIT was first defined as an essential factor in mesoderm formation during early embryonic development. ECSIT has been subsequently characterized as a multi-functional that functions in innate immunity, as a positive regulator of the NF-kB pathway, as an enhancer of mROS production and bactericidal activity, and as a regulator of mitophagy. Beyond the function of innate immunity, the roles of ECSIT for other immune cells, especially those in adaptive immunity, remain largely unknown. ECSIT is highly expressed in T cells, particularly memory CD8+ T cells. In this study, we identify a new role for ECSIT as a critical regulator of memory CD8+ T cells thus expanding our knowledge of ECSIT in immune function.
