Replication Data for "Church Persistence and Entrepreneurial Intensity"

This dataset contains county-level data used to analyze the relationship between long-run religious institutional persistence and contemporary entrepreneurial activity in the United States. It combines historical church counts (1890–2020) with measures of establishment births, population, income, and educational attainment drawn from publicly available sources. The files include the constructed persistence index and all variables necessary to replicate the analyses reported in the paper.
