Skills development in NRM procedures in Collie through on-the-job activities

The main outcome of this project will be to develop Green Army participant skills in a range of rehabilitation activities while at the same time completing short term environmental and conservation projects at various project work sites. Rehabilitation activities will include weed control, seed collection, plant propagation, plant salvage and revegetation of natural habitats. The short term projects will include the revegetation of stretches of Collie River, weed mapping and removal along interpretive pathways in Wellington National Park, rehabilitation of part of an old blue gum plantation at PCYCÍs Camp Mornington and a range of activities (seed collection, plant propagation, erosion control) at the Ngalang Boodja Marron farm.
