Although the expression of Mex3 RNA binding family member B (Mex3b) is upregulated in nasal epithelial cells in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), particularly eosinophilic CRS with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), its role as an RNA binding protein in regulation of nasal epithelial cell function remains unknown.
