资源简介:
This data is related to the following papers: Meteor smoke influences on the D-region charge balance – review of recent in situ measurements and one-dimensional model results C. Baumann et al. 2013 and Modelling of the influence of meteoric smoke particles on artificial heating in the D-region M. Myrvang, C. Baumann and I. Mann, 2021     This data set contains electron density altitude profiles from a simple ionospheric model described in C. Baumann et al 2013 using meteoric smoke particles (MSP) as active charge carrier and a comparative modelrun without MSP.   Myrvang et al. uses this data for their modelling of the electron heating in the lower ionosphere.   day_data_autumn.txt and night_data_autumn.txt  contain the electron density data as in C. Baumann et al. 2013 and also used in Myrvang et al. 2021   MSP_summer.txt contains the electron density for a summer MSP size distribution as in Myrvang et al. 2021 MSP_winter contains the electron density for a winter MSP size distribution as in Myrvang et al. 2021  Ne_charging_prob_1 contains the electron density for a charging efficiency of one for all MSP sizes  (Myrvang et al. 2021)   Ne_charging_prob_1_5  contains the electron density for a charging efficiency of one for MSP sizes greater as 1.5nm (Myrvang et al. 2021)
