Transcriptome analysis of mutations in plant nuclear membrane proteins PNET2A/B/C

Purpose: To understand the molecular mechanism underlying the severe phenotype caused by mutations in the plant nuclear membrane proteins PNET2_A/B/C, we performed the whole genome transcriptome analysis on 7-day-old seedlings of WT, pnet2_ac and pnet2_bc double mutant, and pnet2_abc triple mutant using RNA-seq. Overall design: mRNA profiles of 7-day-old seedlings of wild type (Col-0), pnet2_ac and pnet2_bc double mutant, and pnet2_abc triple mutants were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina HiSeq PE-150.
