Cumulus-oocyte complexes (COCs) were surgically collected from one-month-old lambs and adult sheep pretreated with FSH hormone and matured in vitro for 24 hours. The total RNA of matured MII oocytes were extracted for transcriptome sequencing. Key genes affecting oocytes competence were screened by comparing the differentially expressed genes in the transcriptome of IVM MII oocytes of lambs and adult sheep.
