Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation and Excavation at St George's Road, Semington, Wiltshire, October 2023

This collection consists of sites images, GIS data, and spreadsheet data from a programme of archaeological works, comprising excavation and evaluation, at land off St George's Road, Semington, Wiltshire. The works were carried out by Cotswold Archaeology in October 2023. A pit containing possible Bronze Age flint and pottery of Middle Iron Age date was identified within the eastern part of the site, likely relating to Iron Age settlement activity previously identified to the north and within the wider vicinity of the site. Evidence of medieval/post-medieval ridge and furrow cultivation was recorded throughout the site.
