Directorate of Eartquake and Ground Research of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality carried out a social vulnerability research in Istanbul, which is based on 40.000 household surveys covering the whole jurisdiction boundaries of the metropolitan municipality. According to this research results, socio-economic status values are edited in the attributes of district shape file for the study region.
