Ambient IoT in 5G Networks
收藏资源简介:
This contribution addresses the Medium Access Control (MAC) scheduling on Ambient Internet of Things (A-IoT) devices by providing an implementation and a performance analysis of the Contention-Based Random Access (CBRA) and D2R Upper Layer Data Transfer procedures according to Release 19 of the 3GPP TS 38.391. More precisely, the following pieces of information are included: time and power consumption measurements of the mentioned MAC procedures depending on the number of access occasions and the D2R transport block size, a reference to the GitLab repository that contains the implementation files. Note: The contents are part of the following publication: "Towards Ambient Internet of Things in 5G: What does Medium Access Control Scheduling cost?". The corresponding paper will be submitted to the the 31st International IEEE Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation (ETFA 2026, September 08-11 2026).
