Botanical and environmental survey data collected from 85 ombrotrophic peatland pools distributed across three distinct climatic regions in Eastern Canada.

This dataset contains botanical and environmental survey data collected from 1,020 quadrats across 85 peatland pools situated within 7 natural and 14 restored Sphagnum-dominated peatlands in Eastern Canada. Field surveys were conducted between June and August 2021 across three climatic regions: the Atlantic region (New Brunswick), the Great Lakes–St. Lawrence Lowlands, and the Northeastern Forest (Quebec). The dataset provides detailed information on bryophyte and vascular plant species composition, along with associated environmental variables.
