Model outputs for "Increasing and Widespread Deposition of Trifluoroacetic Acid from Global Emissions of HFO-1234yf in Mobile-Air Conditioning"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains netCDF files outputted from the FRSGC/UCI Chemistry Transport Model (CTM), used in the associated manuscript. The dataset includes global simulations of atmospheric processes contributing to the formation, transport and deposition of trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) from emissions of emerging refrigerant HFO-1234yf in mobile air conditioning units. The netCDF files contain with variables describing the monthly wet and dry deposition fluxes of TFA and the mole fraction of HFO-1234yf from our bottom-up emission inventory from MACs (Model_outputs.nc) and from the source-receptor experiments (*_TFA_DEP.nc). The variables are as follows: 'tfa_wetcnv' represents the net change in mass of TFA as a result of wet removal and convection per gridbox and month (kg/gridbox/month). Convecting lifting sums to zero over a column so adding fluxes over a column generages a 2-D monthly wet deposition field. 'tfa_drydep' represents the net change in mass of TFA as a result of dry deposition per gridbox and month (kg/gridbox/month). 'h1234yf' represents the monthly mean mole fraction of HFO-1234yf. The simulations were conducted as part of a project aimed at quantifying the contribution of HFO-1234yf to TFA production and deposition. See the corresponding manuscript for detailed methodology and description of the CTM.
