Experimental Data and Inertial Number Calculations for Gas-Fluidized Granular Rheology Tests

This dataset contains the experimental data and inertial-number calculation results used in the manuscript entitled “From Small-Scale Granular Rheology Experiments to High-Speed Long runout Geophysical Flows: An Inertial Number-Dominated Dynamic Similarity Framework”. The file Experiment_data.xlsx includes the measured rheological data from granular shear tests conducted using an FT4-based virtual Couette granular rheology system. The file inertial number.xlsx contains the calculated inertial numbers, stress ratios, and related parameters used to evaluate the dynamic states of glass beads and corundum particles under different gas velocities and shear rates. These data support the analysis of the transition from low-inertial-number friction-dominated behavior to high-inertial-number fluidized behavior in gas-fluidized granular beds.
