Provided is a method for evaluating a cellulose nanofiber dispersion， said method comprising the steps of: (1) preparing a cellulose nanofiber dispersion; (2) adding a coloring material to the cellulose nanofiber dispersion; and (3) observing the cellulose nanofiber dispersion having the colored pigment added thereto on an optical microscope. According to the method， it becomes possible to easily determine the presence or absence of aggregates of cellulose nanofibers in a cellulose nanofiber dispersion， which cannot be determined with naked eyes. Provided is a method for evaluating a cellulose nanofiber dispersion， said method comprising the steps of: (1) preparing a cellulose nanofiber dispersion; (2) adding a coloring material to the cellulose nanofiber dispersion; and (3) observing the cellulose nanofiber dispersion having the colored pigment added thereto on an optical microscope. According to the method， it becomes possible to easily determine the presence or absence of aggregates of cellulose nanofibers in a cellulose nanofiber dispersion， which cannot be determined with naked eyes.
