资源简介:
This dataset includes perl scripts and raw epigenomic data used in the study “Evolution of cetacean-specific conserved non-coding elements suggests their role in the limb changes during secondary aquatic adaptation.”Contents: Comparative genomics scripts used to identify cetacean-specific sequence divergence in conserved non-coding elements (CNEs) across multiple mammalian genomes. Raw CUT&Tag epigenetic data from early limb bud tissues of model organisms (e.g., mouse), used to explore the potential molecular mechanisms underlying limb morphological changes.Methodology: Cetacean and terrestrial mammal genomes were aligned using LASTZ and processed with custom pipelines to identify cetacean-specific conserved elements. Epigenomic profiling was performed following standard protocols, and libraries were sequenced on the Illumina NovaSeq platform.Compliance: All animal experiments were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) of Nanjing Normal University, and data collection adhered to ethical guidelines.
