Transcriptome assembly and gene annotation of hepatopancreas from gazami crab (Portunus trituberculatus)

There is no proteome data about gazami crab (Portunus trituberculatus). In order to identify accurately the protease from its hepatopancreas, the hepatopancreas was collected and shipped on dry ice to Sangon Biotech Inc. (Shanghai, China) for transcriptome assembly and gene annotation. Then the mass spectrometric data of the protease were searched against the transcriptome database of the hepatopancreas from P. trituberculatus and the data in NCBI.目前尚无关于三疣梭子蟹（Portunus trituberculatus，俗称gazami crab）的蛋白质组数据。为精准鉴定其肝胰腺内的蛋白酶，研究人员采集了该蟹的肝胰腺，并以干冰封装运输至中国上海的生工生物工程股份有限公司（Sangon Biotech Inc.），开展转录组组装与基因注释工作。随后，将该蛋白酶的质谱数据与三疣梭子蟹肝胰腺转录组数据库以及NCBI（美国国家生物技术信息中心）数据库中的相关数据进行比对检索。
