Natural Disaster Recovery at Mt Archer through Cleanup and Revegetation

This project will assist with cleanup after the severe storms during February 2015. The Green Army Team will work in partnership with Landcare Groups and Council Officers to ensure that bushland areas on Mount Archer continue to be maintained. The team will assist with clearing sites by cross-cutting fallen trees that are blocking pathways to enable visitor access on tracks through bushland sites. The team will also improve access to Bushcare sites for regular volunteers from Landcare groups to continue to access and work to rehabilitate the area. In addition, the team will work on rehabilitation of the area, clean up storm debris, and be involved in revegetation and erosion control to build resilience to future storm events.
