Viltolyckskartor — Moose 2016-2020

Wild Tolyck Maps consist of vector (shape) and raster data (TIF) that present aggregated rest-to-use statistics over the five-year period 2016-2020. The material comes with a.lyr file that helps visualisation and interpretation of the material. Variability densities are reported in raster files with different resolutions. Viltolycksfrequency is reported along the main road network and in designated areas with high accident rates. Frequency is calculated as the number of wild game accidents per kilometre per year over a period of five years. The material is based on reported wildlife accidents to the police and hunter reports from the National Wildlife Council. In total, the dataset includes 7 files, one dataset per animal species/group of animals for the time period. The animal species/groups analysed are: • Dove deer • Red deer • Clean • Deer • Wild boar • Moose • Cloven-hoofed game (all of the above except pure) In this file, rest-tool rates are reported with the species Moose.
